Ok guys,my air con rattles when i hit the snowflake,goes off when i disengage it. Its gone from intermitant to nearly full time.Any ideas? Still blows cold air and does what it should just rattles like #####.HELP!

    It's likely to be the compressor or electromagnetic clutch on it given the symptoms as they are the only rotational mechanical parts in the system.

    Indeeeeeeeed correct. Fire up the A/C, pop the bonnet and listen around the compressor area to be sure!
