Hello Everyone,

Well look who just accidentally bought a Z3 on evilBay...it's black with red leather so that helped ease the pain of the impulse buy. I'd be grateful if you could make me feel better and say that's a nice enough spec!

Looking forward to picking your brains and maybe seeing a few of you at events.

Bye!

Hi G4VHD

It's the 2.0 Straight Six - black with red leather.

I'm quite chuffed with it!

Off to search for a tonneau cover in the Z3 forum.

Hello Fiona,

I should be able to assure you that you have indeed made a great decision. I am also keeping an eye out for a Z3 for a good friend of mine.

This should also cheer you up a bit. The engine you chose is spot on! The reason I say that is because the 4 cylinder engine (1.9) is typically undesirable as it is often criticised to not suite the car. The extra 2 cylinders does the Z3 wonders! The one I am after is also a straight six but the 2.8 variant.

Black with Red leather = Yes B)

Hope this helps

Thanks Daz! I'm really taking to the smoother drive of the straight 6 which is completely different to the daily drive - SEAT ibiza TDi - I think the Z3 might even slow me down a bit......"might" lol.

Thanks all for your encouragement.

Take note that the Z3 is REAR wheel drive so you will need to slow down a tad for a while or you might get a shock when you hit a corner and what happens is not what you expect to happen!
