just asking what means would you use to clean a cone air filter heard different ideas thought it would be good to through the question onto the forum for your ideas.

A decent quality cone air-filter should have been coated in a special oil from the factory. A good knock against something solid should clear anything. If you want to give it a good ol' clean, soak it in soapy water but if you do this, it is advised to re-coat it with the oil again.
