Hi there im new to this site i really need help with 320 d e46,i recently decided to change clutch and as i was taking off the prop i think iv seperated the wrong part at the diff end and the bearings have fell out like a cv joint and now its time to put it back on i cant get the prop and bearings to pop back in can anyone help me and point me in the right direction is there a technique for this any help will be great thanks

      hairline crack in coolant reservoir

      HI all, having previously reported on the hairline crack in the oil filter plastic cup holder that resulted in massive and sudden oil loss albeit at low speed with a cold engine which thankfully didn't result in a lost engine, I have again experienced the same issue but this time in the coolant reservoir. Looks like the same kind of plastic material but I could not testify to that, however I knew I was losing coolant slowly and on closer inspection the garage has determined a hairline crack in the plastic reservoir vessel. The car is 19 years old this year but you don't expect such structures to fail in my case with with two, oil filter holder and now the coolant reservoir it does look like the these plastic parts are suffering under pressure cycles for sure. Does any one else have any similar experience, as I cannot see any other contributor to such failures, no sunlight exposure, no impacts, just pressure cycles? Looking forward to the experience share.       BMW 3 Series M Sport Steering Wheel Question?

      Morning Anthony Welcome to the Forum As long as you realise that if the new wheel has function controls for items not fitted to your car it wont add them (paddle shift as an example). Be careful removing the Airbag (make sure the Battery is disconnected) then as long as the fixings and clock spring are the same it should fit OK Dave If it does need registering it isn't a complicated

      X1 2024 Recall pillar problem

      My new Dec 24 X1 has been recalled because of some problem with the wrong metal in the pillars. The dealer has had it back for 3 weeks now and still can’t tell us what is going to be done with it, or whether we’re getting it back ! We were very pleased with it. Anyone else had this problem?
