Hi all

Seem to be getting noise interference from the Aux in, have tried several cables and none helped, I have recently bought a noise reducing cable and this did stop the hi pitched interference although the sound is now too flat, is there anything else I can do, or should I replace the Aux in port entirely.

The models a 2008 325i...

Thanks

Darren

Interference is caused by the cable/product being close to a magnetic field, whether it be a speaker or a motor of some kind.

Try re-routing any cables or add some form of shielding around the area! HTH ;)

This is a common issue, I have on my 2011 3 series also.

I turn the AUX volume in the settings to a minimum and have my device at a mid level, then turn the head unit up.

This works well.
