No Warm Air

Hi guys

Newbie on the forum

Just bought a 5 series 2004 reg, I just don't seem to get any hot air blowing out, I'd be driving for good 25-30 minutes, enough for the engine get warmed up, but with no luck no war,pm air

Any suggestions......

Heater resistor (Hedgehog) or lower-vent actuator control... Aim for the Hedgehog though ;)

Have you checked the coolant level and has it ever been low enough to gather air-locks in the system?

If you go to climate on your idrive then move across to centre vent and click on that you have to move the heat up to actually get warm air!!!

Hope this is all you have to do......it worked for me.

Taken your advice and managed to get it working, and in good time too, getting abit nippy out there...hate the !Removed! idrive, what a plava hahaa
