Hello Alan. I don't really know why, but used Haynes manuals for BMWs' seem to hold their price a lot better than most other cars. About the best you'll get will be about a tenner on ebay, or, if you don't mind not having the actual book, you can get the workshop manual on CD for about a fiver. I used to think these were illegal "pirate" copies, but I understand that they move into the public domain after a certain time and are thus legal.

Hi guys I have a cd but would like a hardback the going rate is £60 on e-bay which is a helluva lot more than Haynes£10. Cheers and thanks for the interest.

Why Bentley rather than Haynes, Alan? I'd never heard of Bentley Publications until yesterday, and I've only ever had Haynes, which I've always found fine for my needs. Also, I see Bentleys' only come from U.S., which obviously contributes to the cost.
