F01 730D Side Camera Issue

Hello All,


Ive just purchased a F01 series and although its in very good condition
the only fault on the car appears to be the front side cameras, when
pushing the button you just get a 9/10th grey screen with a small yellow
diagonal line at the bottom of both camera pictures.


I at least managed to negotiate a reasonable discount for this issue as
its not a deal breaker to me for them to work, but i would like to fix
it myself if i can!

The grey stays on screen and i don't get a report of camera fault or anything similar.


Ive read a few issues with wiring being a common problem to these
cameras i just wondered if anyone had seen this before and if replacing
or even just WD40'ing the wiring would help, or is it more likely to be a
control unit?

Think I would use electronic contact spray/fluid rather than penetrating stuff like WD... Check connections ;)
