I have just bought an X3 20d with 12000 miles on the clock. It has Cinturato P7 run flat tyres on it. At what sort of mileage can I expect to require to change these tyres? Just normal motorway and main road driving. Nothing off road expected.

I would appreciate a bit of guidence on this if anyone has any ideas on the subject

Very difficult one, Mike, a bit like how long is a piece of string. The really critical point is how you drive, followed by maintaining pressures correctly, followed by road conditions and surfaces and so it goes on. Others will give you some thoughts maybe, I have no experience of run flats so don't even know if wear rates are similar or more or less than standards.
