318 se 06 no fan moter
Morning Tony Welcome to the Forum All fuses check OK ? If you are a DIY man then in the passenger footwell behind the covers you will find the Blower motor housing. Fixed to the bottom of the fan will be the Fan Regulator (Sometimes reffered to as the FSR) This is quite often the problem, though the blower unit itself can be changed I would expect a Regulator to cost around £20 to £30 a complete fan around £60 to £90 Good luck Dave -

Hi Dave Thank you for the reply. I have since found out that the cost is likely to be £266.00. I previously owned a number of V.A.G vehicles and they said the same sealed for life, but you take a big chance if you believe that! Regards -

Winter driver's door problem
I am wondering if the problem lies in the handle mechanism the cable between the outer handle and the lock or maybe the lock itself is the problem some of these parts have a rather long waiting time well and I don't want to order everything -

As I wrote above the problem lies somewhere inside the door because the outer handle is almost impossible to move it goes with very high resistance and the inner handle behaves as if I was disconnected all the rubbers everything is lubricated so this is not the problem
