Pds (Parking Sensors X5 2002

I did post this topic last week but my PDS is not working. When I put the auto box into reverse it beeps for a short while then nothing. When I put into drive and I am close to an object at the front nothing again. Now, I was advised to test the 4 sensors by putting into gear to see if they make a clicking noise and they ALL do, so I assume the problem is not the sensors? If that is the case, what else can it be??

This is a similar problem to what I had, all mine were clicking but there was still a constant beep all the time.

This is by far the cheapest solution! Go to your local breakers and grab a couple of parking sensors from your model if you can, if not then perhaps a similar BMW from that time period if it'll fit? Someone will have to confirm this.

Anyways, just swap them out one by one because until you've replaced the faulty one. Then you can just spray over it if it isn't the correct colour! :D
