Hi everyone,

Hello from Kildare in Ireland.

I am on the look for a BMW so I thought I better get to people who knows.

I have a project for a while to get myself a E36 or E46, or E90 maybe.

Basically I am probably going to do a fair few mileage in the next year or so for work so I need a comfortable but economical vehicle.

The estimation is about 100 miles a day. so a bit of a mileage every month.

Originally I was thinking a 320 or 323 or 325 on 6 cylinder, get it equip LPG, but now I wonder if diesel is not a good idea ?

So I am about to ask a lot of question I need to get my head around engines, and model. :)

Thanks for the help

Welcome to the club Arnaud, you should find the help you need here somewhere or from someone.

Personally I'd go for a 330d M Sport or even a 335d M Sport (this one has twin turbos) both give you power and refinement specially on those long daily drives.

BTW when you find your chosen steed post some pictures please ;-)

welcome to the fourm - ^_^

in your case a diesel should suit your needs at best. the model is personal choice but if you fancy some decent power with torque then a 325d or higher would definatley get you 100 miles per day at ease with smiles returning & decent mpg's :)
