Hi,

I'm a new member here.

I've recently purchased a new BMW 730d SE F01.

My Apple iPod Nano with a Lightning connector works perfectly with my new car. However, I'd like to connect the latest generation Apple iPod Classic 160GB which has the older style 30pin connector. This way I can store my entire Music collection on one device. The iPod classic does not have Bluetooth capability so I am unable to use this to connect to my car.

When I use my existing 30pin cable the iPod Classic does not connect - the media display in the car says 'Not Supported'. I've tried a variety of cables including official BMW types, which outside of being expensive, do not work. I also found a 30pin to Lightning converted on Amazon but this did not work either.

I wondered if anyone had any first hand experience of this themselves and managed to find a solution? I guess this problem may not just be relevant to 7-Series. Outside of BMW cables, there seems to be many cables promising support (from eBay/Amazon) but unfortunately they do not work.

It seems a shame not to take advantage of using the iPod Classic and its high storage capacity/functionality with the new car.

      The spigot is the raised ring on the wheel hub that locates the wheel. It should match the big centre hole in the middle of the wheel, If the one in the wheel is smaller it wont fit if it's larger thewheel wont centre correctly and will probaly wobble Good Luck Buddy

      Hi Ian Welcome to the Forum Check www.realoem.com put the last 7 digits of your Vin into the search box (one car at a time) then check the wheels section. Check the wheel szes for both cars and the wheel Offset so you know they clear Brake Calipers The only other thing is check the spigot ring measure ment on both wheels Hope this Helps Dave

      My 2010 m sport E83 has a fuel pump issue and it looks like I need a new fuel pump in the engine and injectors and it’s not gonna be cost-effective to keep it. it’s dead on my drive, selling for spares and repairs I guess With that in mind I have bought an F25 but it’s on 17 inch wheels compared to the 19 on my other I was thinking about swapping the wheels over. Do you think that would work okay? I also need to pimp up this 2L SE what do you suggest I do? 🤩
