Advice needed for 1999 E38 740i.

Think I have a slight coolant leak from this valve. Is it worth getting a seal repair kit or just replacing the whole thing with a used one. I know they are easy to replace. New one is very expensive but seen used ones for about £50 and the seal kit about the same. The leak is worse under hard acceleration can't find any other evidence of leak. Picture from internet attached.

      Misfire at 2000rpm

      Hi John Welcome to the Forum I would check very carefully the loom to the coil packs and the Injectors. I have seen a misfire fault on a Volvo T5 and a BMW 335i neither car logged fault codes. Both cars would start and run smoothly and show no fault or misfire even when revs were raised, but if the car was under load the symptoms were there. The T5 it was injector harness with cracked insulation and the BMW failed insulation on the loom to the Coil Packs Hope this helps Dave

      2010 X1 Water leak on passenger side footwell

      I have a 2010 x1 which has developed a water leak, when I wash the vehicle with a hose pipe, there is water in the footwell on the passenger side. Any ideas and or help would be appreciated.

      Bmw 116d 2011 her fault codes

      My name 116d has a judder when accelerating, strong smell from exhaust and low mpg I plugged a diagnostic reader in and it came up with EGR codes, I have replaced my EGR valve, map sensor mafs sensor and breather hose but still experiencing the same issues plugged in reader again still says egr codes and then bank 1 lambda sensor so replaced that and still have the egr codes. any one have any idea what it could be as have sunk loads of money into it so far and don't want to keep doing so

      Misfire at 2000rpm

      Hello, my 20 year old 3 series estate (E91) has 93,000 miles on the clock. There are no codes detected at a BMW specialist's garage but there is a slight but noticeable stutter on acceleration. It happens when the engine reaches 2000 rpm in all gears. The vanos solenoids have been replaced, a new fuel pump fitted, new ignition coils and spark plugs. All the injectors have been cleaned and tested. A smoke test for leaks has been done-none discovered. Can anyone think of any other checks that can be done without breaking the bank?
