Engine running weird when hot
I concur with Greydog. I would look at the throttle body and air intake system. unplug the MAF sensor and see how the car runs. Get some carb cleaner in there and see what happens. -

e63 m6 (2010) competition package grill (right) help
Hey, I have a 2010 M6 with the 'competition package' optional extra. The front grills are slightly different in that there is a slight bulge to align with the different bonnet. I've circled this image online to indicate where it is. My issue is that I've gotten a sizable stone chip on the right grill and want to replace it. However, the dealer (and consequently BMW through a request) can't get a part number for it. I'm guessing I'm sod out of luck, but wondering if anyone knows how I could find a part number or otherwise locate the grill. I could of course replace it with an aftermarket, but want the original. Advice appreciated. -

It gives 2 errors about it. - D35CBA ( electrical parking brake switch fault , DSC-LIN 0x2B) missing - D35CCA (electrical parking brake switch fault , DSC-LIN 0x1) missing When i stop the car and open my door it automatically uses the handbrake and it works fine but other then that, i cant use it.. even the auto hold. If anyone can help me it will be perfect. Thank you -

Morning Steve I have never worked on a 2 series but would imagine like the X3 and X5 internal trims around the rear window have to come off for access or maybe like the X5 the spoiler top fixings can be accessed from outside I would check www.realoem.com to see how the trim parts are fitted -

Collision Avoidance System
Morning Paul You have one major answer, your Local Main Dealer is not a good one !! Have you talked to BMW UK Customer services ? Clearly either the Dealer doesn't have a clue or there is an issue they also don't understand ? Worse by telling you a road test would be dangerous are they saying the car is in a dangerous condition ? All questions I would put to BMW UK Good Luck Dave
