Recalls

Hi all another question I'm afraid, my question is has there been any recalls on the early X3's mines an 05, the reason I'm asking is my airbag light doesn't come on when ignition switched, not a bad thing I suppose but when I had the car on a diagostic machine(local garage) it came up with occupany sensor fault but no light on dash(airbag) The garage cleared the fault code and I searched the internet and came up with a recall on some X3's for the occupancy sensor, tried to find out if my car was affected(wasn't sure) so contacted local BMW dealer to find out if my car had, had the recalls done, only for them to tell me there was never a occupany sensor recall for the X3 and my car had never had any recalls(the other recall I read about was the vanos sensor)?????????????????????? not that I don't trust BMW but has anyone had a recall for occupany sensor. I looked to see if there was such a thing as a national register for any recalls in this country for the X3 but haven't found one.
