Hi everyone.

I just bought my first BMW (it's the fruit of a 5 year life plan) and I'm extremely happy with it. I've joined this forum mainly to gather advice and wisdom about servicing and maintenance when it should arise. By this I mean where I should take her and what should I look at paying. By modest budget I don't mean I need to scrimp on the stuff that needs paying for but I also don't have cash to burn if you know what I mean.

Anyway, I couldn't be happier with the car after 2 months and I'm now driving with a smile on my face rather than the grimace that my old Mondeo gave me! I've already promised myself a 4 or a 6 series in about 2 years time (640d of course ha ha!).

Well, I look forward to trawling through the forum and learning more about my car as I go.

      Just thought I'd jump on this thread and ask how you've found the car so far as I'm looking at a 520d m sport 2018 but has 95k mile on it so just fishing around see what folks reviews of theirs or thoughts on that is

      I'm currently in the market for a new car but I'm so undecided as to what i want , I'm currently in a 2018 bclass amg line that's fine but I've go that itch that won't go away, I've looked at a 520d sport 2018 but it's got 94k miles on it which doesn't really scare me but just wanting real world advice from anyone that's got one, all it's services are there last one done at 88k , my merc has 100k on now and still goes like a dream I've had a 1 series before so not my fist bmw , anyhow thanks in advance

      Fuel rail pressure problems.

      I get 3500 mbar to fuel rail was driving hit a pothole and car died never started after that

      Bmw x4 2015 3.0d injector issue?

      Hi Dave, It appears that my Ista+ was out of date and the idrive(ecu) software in the vehicle is running the 2018 version, therefore, reading the vehicle with the up to date remote ista from the dealership shows there is nothing wrong with the car. It's already booked for a software update with the 2025 version Thanks!

      Would you buy this car?

      Morning Annamaria Welcome to the Forum As with any purchase of a Second hand car it falls on you to make all the checks you can if your not able/capable then ask someone who is to check for you. There may be a charge from people like the AA/RAC or similar but at least you will feel confident in your decision. Just asking on a Forum could get conflicting advice as no one but you has actually seen the car? Well I assume you have have had hands on it Good Hunting Dave
