Hi all,

Just got myself a 2004 320d touring :) really pleased with it so far, but it has seen better days and the leather interior is looking a little worse for wear.

Had a look on ebay for other cars being broken but unsure about the leather colour - mine I would describe as a cream, but some of the cars on ebay look like their leather is more tan. Of course it doesn't help that the pictures aren't great quality, and lighting differences etc.

So my question is: what interior colour options were available from factory?

Would hate to end up buying some new front seats & armrest that's a different colour to my interior!

Follow up questions:

If the seats are manual seats at the moment, can they easily be replaced by electric seats?

Will the front seats of the saloon/coupe/vert swap directly in to the tourer?

Lots of choice on ebay, but dont want to end up with seats that dont fit!

Josh an easier option is find a company that can restore your seat to as near good as new, they can re colour them in place for roughly £100 per seat, if you give me the last 7 digits of your VIN number I can spec check it for you and give you the colour of your seats, the vert and coupe seats wont fit the saloon front ones will, and I don't think the wiring is in place for electric seat in your car.

Hi Steve.

Thanks for the reply, really useful. My VIN is:

PM46055

I think the drivers seat and armrest are beyond the point where they can look like new again! I've decided to stop being lazy though and actually try to clean them up myself first, see what results I can get the cheap way.

Still, I would be interested to see what spec details you bring back.

Thanks Steve, thanks Mike.

Interestingly enough, that website thinks my car is 110 bhp but I thought all 320d from a date onwards were 150 bhp, and I thought my car fell in that bracket.

It feeks pokey enough, so maybe the website is incorrect?

An answer for everything! Thanks again :)

Will be sure to ask again as and when I encounter problems, which I guess is inevitable on a 115k miles car :)
