Hi,

I have a 2004 model 5 series 2.2 and I have a few issues.

The car is very sluggish and if you pull away quickly in first gear fast it starts to kangaroo.

it recently started going into limp mode and displayed an air intake fault due to the Catalytic converter been broken and blocking the pipes.

After having the cats replace the car still feels very sluggish and doesn't pull away quickly has anyone got any ideas on what to do๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

Has it been plugged in for fault codes? If not, it needs to for two reasons... To reset and let you know the cause(s)

It has been plugged in before the cat replacement, but it still has a lack of power in low revs until you hit 4k rpm!!

If its been running knackered Cat's I would suspect that there is a lot of carbon in the system MAF MAP EGR. I would suspect will all show faults so Dabsy is right on the money, first port of call is a session on the computer. Make sure it is someone with Autologic or BMW software or they may not show up. Reset and see if it makes a difference if not I guess you have a lot of cleaning to do.
