Hi all, has anyone tried fitting the e53 with logo lights in the doors or are they not fitted on the e53 due to cambuss error. Some might say they look "tacky" personally I think they look quite cool 😁 and would like to fit them if it's possable.

Are the LED? I have heard of people having issues as the puddle lights fage in and out

Yes LED, thought there might be a problem with them, have you tried any LED interier "error free" bulbs, are they really error free...

Nah, I am an "old bloke" from the school of "if its working don't fix it" but I have read on other sites were people have changed all interior lights with out issues

It seems the tail lights and side lights can give problems with flicker which is thought to be caused by the self test circuits.

apart from the flimsy plugs that go into the wiring ive had no trouble whatsoever and loads of people think they look good and up to now no problems with flickering

I think its the puddle lights in the door mirrors that give problem fading on. I would try them and let us know if they work

Well just ordered them, thanks for the link Dave,think they are suitable for later models, will fit them and keep all posted, hopefully they will be ok, if they do play up what would be the likely cause ( flickering/limp mode/error code) anyone no what the worst can happen. :)

After receiving the logo lights I tried fitting and can defenatly confirm that the ones on the link provided by Dave do not fit the e53, the connectors are too small as is the light unit, it was worth a try, :(
