Had turbo re furbished. Now turbo kicks in and out at random. Replaced relay some wiring and diesel filter. It is out for 2 or 3 days and back for maybe a week Any ideas would be very welcome as have spent £600 and still no nearer a solution. Any help would be very welcome.

Hi Steve,

The main bolt holding the pulleys came loose and the turbo malfunctioned. We drove the car ( after the turbo refurbishment ) to Spain and back with no trouble at all.

Your second ? is way above my knowledge. ( I am a 76 year old and having a job keeping up with modern technology ). I will ask my garage for this information and pass it on to you as soon as I get it.
