Hi all. Not sure if you can help me. I've just bought a 2002 320ci convertible. I noticed that after 20 seconds of starting the car. The radiator fan comes on. The temperature on the dash never rises above the cold. I've had a mess about with it and found that if I unplug the fan. The engine warms up as it should and the thermostat opens. As soon as I plug the fan back in. It just cools it back to cold again. I've now found that there I no plug on the coolant sensor on the bottom hose. Is this the cause? I can't find the plug anywhere on the car. But have found a few wires that look like they've been ripped up a bit. I can order a new connector. But just wondering if anyone knows what colour wires go to the 2 pin connector. Any help will be extremely appreciated. Thanks Kevin.
