Hello guys , just purchased my first BMW. A very tidy E38 728i Sport with 32k on the clock, has a couple of little bits that need sorting apart from that a very nice car.

Just want to pick a few brains, I've seen these bmw software programs on eBay that allows you to find clear faults as well as program parts are these any good ? Or am I wasting my money, can anybody point me in the right direction for this software?

Many thanks.

Matt.

welcome to the forum Matt - :)

I think its a handy tool to have & will clear most faults however I have seen that they don't always pick up the correct fault.

something like ncs expert software loaded on to a laptop will be more thorough & up to notch.
