Hi

I own a BMW 645Ci 2004, Automatic Coupe

I have sprouted a leak from my expansion/header tank, from what looks like the lid/top. There appears to be a gasket/seal of some sort between the top and the main body of the expansion/header tank. The water is leaking from there.

I have sat and watched lots of videos on how to replace the whole header/expansion tank, but non showing how to just remove the lid to replace the gasket/seal. I can't seem to see any clamps, clips or screws holding the lid on. So, Im assuming that the whole thing has rot be replaced - thought I would check here first though.

Cheers

Mike
