Hi Guys,

After leaving my car standing for four months the A/C has stopped working, which is awesome in this weather It used to be freezing but now I can hear a whining when it comes on and the revs go up but the air isn't getting any colder. I've checked all three fuses that are suggested in the fuse diagram and they're all fine. Does anyone know where to start troubleshooting?

Cheers in advance,

If there was no pressure in the system it wouldn't start up at all. Best get it checked by an Air con specialist. Don't go to BMW. They will charge you a fortune.

No worries,I'll get it looked at. Although I was kind of hoping it would be something simple enough to sort myself lol

Halfords do a diy regassing kit now but I would personally go to an expert service as they will check it for leaks and re-gass for around £70 or less.
