hi all.

recently bought a 2001 X5 3.0i petrol manual.

its the first bmw iv owned. 1 problem i got is i had 3 keys with the x5 when i bought it but not 1 of them will work off the button for central locking.

dont know if the batterys are dead or they need reprogramming.

there seems to be no life in them at all when pressing unlock or lock buttons.

i tried to reprogramme myself using what i seen on google and youtube but no luck.

i am in south wales can anybody advise me anyone who be able to help me or what is wrong with my keys.

    Just change the batteries to start with as it's cheap and easy to do. No point scratching your head about programming if you don't know that the batteries are any good?
