Can front brake pads differ in size ? As mine seem to be clonking when i brake . They sound like they are hitting the carrier and when I removed brake pads to inspect they seem very loose fit . Thanks

Hi Richard...welcome to the Forum

Sounds like a new fitting kit is required to take up the clearance between the pads and the carrier but allowing it to slide sideways with ease. Worthwhile applying Copperslip when assembling.

Let us know how it all progresses

Got new pads on order as checked against ones at local mechanic and mine are about 4 cm bigger allowing the pads to clink against carrier
