Hi can anyone help I have a E91 320d touring,  the glass section of my boot doesn't open I have also noticed that the load cover doesn't slide up when pressing the fob twice,  I know the boot switch is a common fault,  but wondered if there is anything else that might make both these fail or would a faulty switch stop the load cover sliding up,  any fuses I can check etc

It's worth starting at the rear where the fault lies and work back from there.

Also, check for anywhere that water could have entered the electrics, etc and specifically at electrical connections being corroded
