Hi

Can any one help me with this my car does not even heat up to 1/4 (is this right) also heaters dont get very hot in the car any help will be great full pleases.

Could be the thermostat is either missing or stuck open, this will mean the car will never reach full operating temperature. There are also a couple of solenoid valves on the near side inner wing they control flow to the heater you could check them also but my money would be thermostat the needle should make dead centre of the gauge.

I had the same problem with my X5/3.0. Temp gauge wouldn't warm up, and the heaters were cool. I had the thermostat replaced and everything works great now. Cost £160 in all
