hi guys this is my first post.  so hello to you all.   this is my first bmw.  the 5 door 5 series .  64 model

 

a few months back i noticed my headlight water jets had stopped working.  they wont pop out they wont even make a noise and i notice the realy  does not click when i press the windscreen washer.  i know it only works so many times when you press .   like every 5 times but mine is not working at all or making any noises.  i looked at the fuse and it seems fine  there seems to be a  realy wonder if it could be that.  any idea people?  thanks in advance

      Air bag fault

      Hello Dave. I don’t know if it will stop the engine from running, I read it in one of the BMW forums. The strange thing is that I don’t get a fault on my dash!! only on the OBD. I got my first 735 last August, loved it from the first ride, and now I am trying to fix all those little things that the main BMW dealer have not bothered to put right, hence my questions.       Air bag fault

      Not unusual for the oil level sensor to fail but never heard of one stopping the engine starting, though it does sound logical I changed 3 on the 4.6is but you have to wait until Oil Change as they are in the bottom of the sump Dave

      X1 2024 Recall pillar problem

      Exactly I had to point out I had taken legal advice (luckily had a good pal who is a solicitor) before they took it seriously, they too gave me a rather rough 220i and seem to think that’s good enough for now !

      Hi Mishal Welcome to the Forum Check using www.realoem.com put the laST 7 digits of your Vin into the search box it will call up your model then check the relevant section. When you find the part number you need double click it and you will see a list of any other Part numbers and Models that they were used in.
