Hello, first of all want to thank you for allowing me to join this group! I just bought my first BMW this past week and I am a bit confused, I purchased a 2006 325CI 6-cyl, 2.5 liter it does not have the owners manual and I am not sure if I have a E46 or E90... Is there a way to determine this information?

Again, thank  you and I am anxious to learn from each one of  you

Morning Gary (well it is here) Welcome to the Forum

To be sure have a look at www.realoem.com put the last 7 digits of your Vin number in the search box, it will bring up your model. The site is a BMW parts site its used by Dealers and Factors to make sure they get the right parts. It also has small exploded drawings which are useful to see where stuff fits and how. Also have a look at www.newtis.info this is a BMW technical site that is used by Dealers for service and repair information. I also use www.pelicanparts.com for "how too's" a great site with loads of information and photo's.

Great choice of car

Thank Dave, these websites are awesome!  I guess I do have an E46 so that allows me to move forward on an owners manual etc...

Thanks again..
