Hi my 330 d sits lower on the drivers side is this the same for all bmw 3 series or is there a problem with it, it had new springs and shocks a while ago !

Hi Mark,

Did it sit right on the day the new parts were fitted???  How long have you noticed this?  My guess is ...welcome to the broken spring club lol. Seems if i break wind in mine, they break!

Car obviously should sit level.

Hi Mick

the car has always sat lower on the drivers side rear even after new springs and shocks where fitted, just wondering what else could be wrong to make the ride height not the same on both sides

thanks

Possible twisted chassis? 330D has a lot of torque so if driven "enthusiastically" over the years, may have deformed slightly. You'd need a fairly expensive alignment jig to check this out.

Hope this helps

John
