1972 BMW 2500 - Looking for a set of 2 Wheels

I am in need of 2 16 inch wheels for our 1972 2500.  Located in Florida and having a hard time locating wheels here.  Any help or a push in the right direction would be much appreciated.

Have you tried locating a set of steel winter wheels of the right size. I presume drivers in the more Northern states run steel wheels and winter tyres like they do in the UK and EU.

No, I haven't.   But I will now.  Thanks for the tip Upt.     

PS - I've called every shop in the local/greater area that says they specialize in classic Euro cars, but no-one had a clue of where to locate wheels in our area.

I know in the UK you can buy a set of 4 16" steel rims for under £200.00 delivered. 

They're obviously not genuine but if behind trims they should be fine.

Try an email to here. It would be a good start. I'm guessing you'll need offset etc to get the right match.

Have you tried BMW? Have a look at www.realoem.com go to the Classic section put the last 7 digits of your Vin in the search box it will show all types of wheel supplied for your model.

If BMW can't help (unlikely) there are many replica wheel suppliers in the USA and here that will I am sure.

If your talking to BMW make sure you get the discount. BMW in the UK and Europe they give good discounts for older models.
