I've been hearing a weird rattling noise coming from the engine lately. It's very inconsistent and seems to happen later once the engine warms up (maybe 20 minutes after starting). It's most noticeable in second gear only around 2500 rpm. I can hear it in third gear as well but it's quieter. Also I only hear when I lightly hold the gas pedal, once i give it more throttle the sound is gone.

I don't think it's a timing chain issue as it has been replaced recently along with all the filters and an oil change.

Morning Denis

Welcome to the Forum

We need to hear the noise? It could be so many things loose heat shield or engine cover, loose exhaust mount or (we hope not) something mechanical.

Fingers crossed it's simple
