I own a 2017 320d xDrive Gran Turismo and much as I love the car, I’m finding parking can be a problem due to the steering lock and difficulty manoeuvring the car into parking slots, turning around, etc.
My question is could this be due to the four-wheel drive? So would this be improved on a similar model without xDrive?
Can anyone answer this and/or offer me some advice please..

Hi Andrew Welcome to the Forum

As 4 wheel cars have a drive shaft and Diff at the front lock will be compromised not sure by how much on your model but it can be half a mtr with some cars. As an example a Front drive car has the drive shafts anyway so an AWD version would feel no different a rear wheel drive car such as the 3 series will feel very different.

I guess you have to decide whether the extra traction ability is a fair trade
