2003 BMW Z4 AC Schnitzer badges

Hi there

ive recently bought a 2003 Z4 which was badged as an AC Schnitzer but doubt it is. It’s a 3 litre and been well looked after but there’s a pair of badges either side below the 3.0 that are shields but the centre bits are either stolen or missing but despite loads of searching I’ve no idea what they could possibly be so I’d really appreciate some help or advice please as to what they might have been and where I can get replacements?

Hi Martin.....welcome to the Forum

AC or not, I'm sure the Zed is a superb car especially as it has a 3.0 litre lump in it.

I assume this is the badge you are referring to?
You can get aftermarket ones through BMW suppliers, not sure of costs though.

Feel free to post up some photos if you want, would love to see it

No the badged is a shield shape not circular and it’s on either wing below the 3.0 I badge?

Hi Martin

If your car is a genuine Schnitzer car there will be a plate in the engine bay plus a plate on the engine. Same as AMG the engine plate is engraved with the signature of the builder.

Have you Googled Schnitzer pictures to see if you can get a clue to what badges Schnitzer fitted.

The other alternative is to remove them and replace them with the style as above....probably more readily available as well
