After the production break due to the corona measures, BMW Cars rolled off the assembly lines for the first time on Monday at the BMW Group plant in Dingolfing . Dingolfing is the BMW Group's first German vehicle plant to gradually ramp up production in line with current market developments. Production is initially carried out in one-shift operation, with extensive infection control measures for the employees.

The basis of the protective measures agreed between the company and the works council are compliance with the known hygiene and distance regulations as well as the occasional use of mouth-nose masks in certain situations. In order to ensure these rules, the existing production environment and the previous processes were partially significantly redesigned.
