I have been offered a BMW 2002 convertible from a friend who inherited it.

It's in fantastic condition.

Under the bonnet it looks brand new.  There is a leak from one of the hoses near the radiator. I know this is asking alot, but I would have to transport it about 500kms and money is tight atm.

Are they expensive to repair? ie. Hard to get parts etc?

Thanks for any general advise.

Hi Mischa

Yowzers lucky so and so

If you check www.realoem.com look in the classic section you will find the 2002 model, look up the part you need and order it from BMW you may be surprised that they still cater for the older models and offer discounts to.

As for transport if you or a friend have a car with a tow ball what about hiring a trailer, that is of course if you can't get it running and road legal.

Good Luck

Dave
