Hi All, 

I need some help please.

I have a 2007 (56) Series 1

My indicators play up but not all of the time. Randomly they will just turn on as I’m driving & I can’t get them off. 
Some times it only does it once on a journey (I then press the hazard button & it goes off) sometimes it does it a lot of the journey & I can’t get it to turn off at all & sometimes it never does it & I can go a couple of days without it doing it at all

My stepdad has tried taking the bit apart & checking the stalk & cleaning the hazard switch

But it still does it!

Anyone have any ideas please?

    It could be the Hazard switch is on it's way or a loose connection or damaged loom, worst case scenario is the Footwell module playing up.

    A diagnostic session would help narrow it down

    PS If it is the Footwell module you may find when it is happening that other things don't work fan. cant adjust speed, horn doesn't work etc. If it is the footwell module FCM/LCM BMW will tell you only a new one fitted and coded by them will do. That isn't so you can use a second hand unit
