1 series radio and aerial confusion

Hi all 

new here, got a 1 series convertible last week and it had next to no radio reception. Whipped the radio out today and the aerial isn’t connected so that explains that. 

However. The connections on the aerial cable and the back of the radio are different. I’ve never seen either of them before so I’m struggling to find some sort of adaptor/go between to get them connected.

Hopefully the photos of the back of the head unit and the cable have uploaded. Any help appreciated.

After some more research it appears the aerial is the left slot and appears to be broken! Damn.

There is a company Cartronix check their web site they may help. Its also worth checking www.realoem.com put the last 7 digits of your Vin into the search box, it will call up your model then check the audio section BMW used to do repair kits for several models maybe something there.
