Need help with my e92 bmw

Can someone solve the problem for me , i have a cracking noise from steering wheel when im standing and  turning to the sides . When its raining i dont hear any noises

My guess would be the lower steering joints. First try some lubrication on the 2 universal joints if the noise goes you will know where the issue is.

It will come back though so think about changing the lower joints look at www.realoem.com put the last 7 digits of your Vin into the search box then look in the steering section. The small exploded drawing should help you see where it is.
