I live on the East coast near Great Yarmouth.

For my sins I have unfortunately fell in love with a beautiful 2006 BMW X5 3.0d

I'm a partially disabled veteran so I enjoy the driving position, comfort, driving cruise control etc..... before anybody hits me with "well they are not cheap son!"

Now what I know about mechanics could be memorised by a drunk gold fish suffering from Alzheimers and so I have absolutely no idea about prices and so have no idea about when I may be overcharged or mislead. I moved here from the Midlands a couple of years ago so I don't have a "trusted" mechanic I can go to.

I require some minor work to be done on my car before its impending MOT (O/S F split cv gaiter & Drivers side front door handle broke)

Does anybody know anybody in the Norfolk area who is trustworthy and decently priced who would like a long term customer?

What should I expect to pay for the above work to be done?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated troops

Hi Jonathan

Welcome to the Forum

There is a Register of BMW Specialists most are ex BMW Tech's so have the right Skill's and Knowledge base. Normally their hourly rates are half or less than BMW Main Dealer costs

Google the Register and look for one near to you there are probably several
