Hello everyone,

First i must confess to been a BMW Virgin, its only taken 44 years lol

i have just purchased this 2008 320i M Sport, 1 owner from new, full service history, 65k original miles (backed up by mot data)

Just got to wait for the dealer to put a new Mot on it, and a service. then hopefully be picking up before next weekend. oh managed to get 15 month warranty on it to boot.

looking forward to experiencing a new marquee and BMW ownership.

      Air bag fault

      Hello Dave Thank you for the respose. I will try to locate the connector and clean them up. Could it be the head air bag and not the door air bag that is faulty? (BTW the car is a LHD). Considering there is no oil thermal sensor could the “Thermal Oillevel Sensor” be a faulty oil level sensor? I have tried to instal the 1.4.0 on my laptop but I gave up after 3 hrs in trying. I could not find the correct drivers for the software. Dimitri

      Air bag fault

      Hi Demitri Your car has an Air Bag in each door so front right would be in the Drivers Door (UK) Passenger Door (LHD) I would check the Loom connections continuity through the door it could be a broken wire in the loom (make sure you disconnect the battery first) The other faults could be as simple as a corroded pin or poor earth, the Thermal Oil sensor fault may clear when earths and other connectors are cleaned up Do you have INPA or BMW 1.4.0 they will help a lot Dave

      Drivers side wiper not flush

      My x5 drivers side did this and it was the spring had lost its tension. I just bought another from eBay and fitted it in 5 minutes. job done!

      Drivers side wiper not flush

      Hey, Just seeing whether there is a common problem or if someone has an easy fix? My drivers windscreen wiper doesn't sit flush to the screen when moving, leaving patches on the glass. I have replaced the wiper blade, and had a go at bending the arm, but the problem still remains. Any hints or tips would be great appreciated.

      Weird X5 Top End Noise

      Hi guys, turned out it was the 'Idler Pulley' in the belt. Local autoshop figured it out. $100 repair. Thanks again for your help, appreciated! Norm.
