Rattling inside dashboard

Welcome to the Forum

First empty all the cubby holes and glove box to make sure it isn't a self inflicted rattle

If it's still there when does it start/stop if you push part of the dash does it stop ? Check for anything loose ?

Hi Dave 

the rattling is actually inside the left side of the dashboard, sounds like a bolt bouncing around.yesterday i started

e car , 22 degrees and when the idle was reviving up it started, then when idle was achieved it stopped

Are you sure it is in the Dash or is it in the engine bay ? The only way to find it will be to remove stuff to locate it a pain but the only way

Thanks Dave , I thought it might be from the housing for the air vent because the sound was definitely from inside the dashboard. Since then no noise .., go figure ?
