Fitting the cd player in the boot of a 1997 E36 convertible

Hi, I’m hoping to fit a cd player in my 1997 convertible boot. I have all the second hand parts, but would like some pictures of where and how the cd player and holder/support brackets are fitted. Thanks for any info and help.

Welcome to the Forum

Take a look at www.realoem.com put the last 7 digits of your Vin into the search box it will call up your model. Then search the Audi section you should find all you need there a small exploded drawing showing parts and fixings and how they go together.

      E53 petrol fail safe again.

      Right… changed the throttle body, now goes like stink… didn’t start… new battery, now starts and goes like stink…. now drops into fail safe and says the idle valve is mechanically stuck open. where is it, how much is it… can I kick it?

      3.0i starter motor

      I stand corrected…. It wasn’t the starter. I could hear it clicking so checked the battery, amps were about 10… new battery and fired straight up…. So much for Halfords and yuasa battery testing! ….now to the next issue…

      Bmw x1 2012 won't start

      I recently had a problem with my bmw x1 2012, failed to start,fault code came up , got the foot control module and battery replacement, not even two days of driving the car won't start again and the engine light is on .mechanic is now saying it's the starter

      Many thanks for the help I've hot the car booked in for a full health check but it seem that the transfer box oil as not been changed for nearly 3 years so I'm hoing to do that first to see if it helps

      hi , I had very similar problem a while back, and after a lot of testing with vista, it turned out to be a front R/H wheel , speed/wheel sensor. when it all was happing lots of codes were coming up gearbox, diff front and back, transever box,plus many more, didn't look good, but there was one code that repeatedly came up at the top of the list, at this point it was becoming undriveable ,it just didn't seem that a wheel sensor could cause all these codes. So I went got two wheel speed sensor, replaced driver side front, the problem never came back, the sensor controls so many systems ,cleared all codes, happy days, I could have pulled the car apart for nothing, and got nowhere, except an empty wallet. hope this helps you or someone.
