I’ve got a couple 118d and about to fit 18” wheels. Am I right in thinking they use the same calliper thru the range . If so I’d just need to get diff cal upper carrier to add bigger discs. Can anyone confirm ? What side disc are good in 18” wheels

Take a look at www.realoem.com standard disc's I believe are 292x22 vented Front and 300x20 vented Rear, remember rear has the Handbrake drum built in which is why the are slightly larger are standard. Check the wheel hub carrier is the same which should indicate whether the calliper carrier is a straight swap.

For comparison M 135i front discs are 338x26 rear are 324x22

My E53 4.6is Front discs are 356x36 rear 324x20 and 18" rims are the smallest that can be fitted with it's winter tyres. My E70 3.0d Front discs are 348x30 Rear 320x20 again 18" rims are smallest to clear the calliper's just make sure the Off Set is correct so the spokes clear the calliper's

Nice upgrade
