Hi All,

Just been told small turbo has gone and mechanic can send it away to be refurbished and depending on work needed it will be between £250-£475 OUCH!..Would you recommend getting larger turbo looked at as well, myself and mechanic are undecided.  I do have a warranty with RAC but they want to send me to a chain (tyre fitting) garage and I just don't trust them!

Morning Steve

The small turbo is working hard from low revs the bigger one comes on song mid range so while it is spinning it isnt under load. My logic says if your in there get both checked and refurbed, you will curse if you do one and in a couple of months !!!

Also make sure the intercooler is clean inside (no oil)
