If my 10yr old 320D has been running for a while and is fully warmed up the next time I switch off and then ready to go again press the start button sometimes but not always it does not work, going blank. If I then press the clutch as usual then press start again sometimes still No Start  sometimes it goes and all is well. If it packs in on me in the middle of a roundabout or busy junction I am in trouble!! Battery Ok, car has had a two long runs this week so should be well charged. Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi Graham

Welcome to the Forum

You need a diagnostic scan to help find the cause, otherwise we are all just guessing
