105C thermostat replacement
Hello all I got myself a 1996 E38 735i back in August and I, as expected, run into some probs. I have seen the engine temperature dial, when cold, it was rising to maximum for a short period and then dropping back to normal after a few min. when the car was hot it was running OK. What I have done, back in August when I got the car, was to remove the 105C thermostat and replace it with a non 88C Map thermostat. The electrical connector on the thermostat is not connected – free plug. Will the non use of the MAP thermostat through a fault like the temperature dial raising to max when running cold? -

Winter Wheels
Hi All, I currently have the original wheels on a staggered set up. If going to winter wheels/tyres do I need to go staggered or will same all round be fine? What size wheels? Currently on 18"s. -

X5 e53 reverse sensors video required please
Right! …. Changed the unit…. Still screaming away! lol. all the sensors are clicking away happily but it seems to be the high pitched tone is constant and interrupted by the lower… so I’m assuming it’s a front sensor confusing the system. any suggestions?? (apart from press the button to shut it up!) haha. -

My Customised Service Pricing
They ended up phoning me back to ask why I hadn't take out the service with them. After explaining I didn't agree with the reset fee, she said would you use us if we can do something.., anyway long story short she offered £73 all in. So had it done. Service agent at Synter was less than happy with the price, but thats another story. -
