Instrument cluster suddenly died
Many thanks for your reply Greydog Dave, as always it is much appreciated and proves someone cares. It is true that the soldered batteries appear in the Haynes Manual but they are not in my instrument cluster. My auto electrician friend wonders if the subsequent model didn't appear in any manual. The VIN number is WBAHC22010BK95873 The Haynes Manual we've used is BMW 3&5 Series 1981 to 1991 ( up to J registration ) page 12 *5 Look forward to your reply -

Nothing at my injectors
Morning Bruce Welcome to the Forum and Happy New Year You need a Scan using a good BMW capable diagnostic system. Your issue could be Crankshaft or Camshaft sensor related or High Pressure fuel pump/sensor related. If you have continuity on the Injector loom then it should be OK. I have seen two that had single injector issues due to frayed brokn wires (badly fitted loom) but cars still ran fine apart from a misfire and lack of power. Both were fixed with a new loom from BMW Hope this helps Dave -

Nothing at my injectors
Hi, new to this group i have a 320d efficiency and over the holidays I have had issues, firstly my orange battery light saying discharging whist stationary, then it developed a misfire I know it's a diesel but that's what it felt like, anyway thought I'd take it to work has im an auto electrician. On the way there I broke down. Once check for codes something regarding start ability, tried some easy start car runs with easy start, checked fuel at fuel rail all good. I have no lives or earth's at the injectors there is no fuse wiring is about 30 inches from the ecu straight to injectors. Any ideas? T.I.A Bruce -

Morning Gary Happy New Year and Welcome to the Forum A friend of one of our sons had exactly the same issue (2020 model) he contacted his Dealer who told him No can't be done a second Dealer also said Factory Fit only. He found a company online who fitted one for him and it works really well,(I just text him for details) The company is www.autologics.co.uk he said cost was £600 all in. I have no experience of them but he is a happy bunny 😁 Hope this helps good luck Dave P.S. My daughter says you don't need a camera you have acoustic sensors backed up by a THUD when to close
